After sitting in both a GT and a V6, I haven't found the trunk release yet. Did Ford miss putting this in? I hope not, 'cause its a handy button to have. I really don't want to have the only way to open the trunk is with the key or the remote.

i think it's the same with the 500. i went in to my dealer the other day to chat and we took a look at the new 500 they had just gotten in. he wanted to show me that you could fit 8 fully loaded golf bags in the trunk but was unable to open it.

we couldn't find a release for the trunk in the car, and there was no key hole that we could find on the back. weird.

I was at my dealer on saturday( to look at the lime V6 that was delivered). I specifically looked for a trunk release. the only two trunk releases are the key fob and the key in the trunk. No button in the glove box, or release under the dash.

Those that said there is none...are correct.

Its on the FOB thats the only remote release.
And in this years iteration, can be use while the car is under a certain speed.....unlike the last generation, which wouldn't work if the key was in the ignition/on.

Its not in the glove box, its not hidden.
Keep looking though

In response to an earlier comment in this thread. The 500 has one on the dash left side. Electric not cable.

500 is just left of the steering column on the dash, its the big buton with the opening trunk picture on it B)

I was in one yesterday. I looked all over for it, the salesman looked all over for it, then the guy came over with the key fob and told us...

No trunk release in the car.
