I don't know where people get this crap about GTs only being on the showroom for a matter of hours...
maybe in some areas it is different, but my dealer has had a black GT there for about a month.

The Ford dealer in Racine, Wisconsin has three GT's on his lot, and the salesman can't figure why...I wonder if it has anything to do with the $3000 dealer markup?!?!

our dealer had two gt's. Both were loaded, except that the silver one(automatic) was in the show room, and the red with silver stripes 5-manual was outside. It was for the simple reason that they only had two slots in the showroom, and the other had a new f-250. Remember, i live in nova scotia, and we get in excess of 3-4 feet of snow at times. A little snow wont hurt the car, but scraping the snow off, and salt will.

If Stang101 is talking about Manley Motors in Belvidere, Illinois, I got there first one, and the other GT, that came in on the same day did not last they delivered it right after mine.

I think they keep the GT's outside so it will catch the pples attention that are driving pass the dealership.. a GT is more noticeable then a V6 anyways.. and for the dealers that have the GT's outside in 3 feet of snow.. they probably dont know that their not sopposed to put that kind of car in that much snow
