today i went to a dealer in my area and looked at there 05's and there was a GT fully loaded outside in the snow and in the show room a redfire V6 with only the shaker 1000 in it! WHY WAS THE GT OUTSIDE, FULLY LOADED [IUP,SHAKER 1000,AND MORE]outside it was very werid!

That is odd. They may know that the GT is going to sell much quicker than the V6. Not a knock, but even the big dealer I'm in business with right now is talking about how hard it is to keep GT's on the lot. It probably won't be there long, that's my guess.

LOL Diamond....I would have to agree that the GT outside would garner more attention then a base model stang...but if it's covered in snow I'm not sure what they are thinking....maybe it's sold and the V6 got it's spot...both are beautiful bodies so I guess it doesn't really matter....ya can't see what's under the hood from the street so maybe it makes sense....

I bought my Satin Silver GT off the showroom floor on Jan. 3rd. It took them all of thirty seconds to roll it outside for a test drive. The dealer only had one other '05, a Black V6, parked outside.
To be honest, I wish my GT was outside instead of being exposed, and potentially groped, by every person passing through the showroom for the three weeks it was there. Luckily, no scratches that I could see. Haven't checked under the seat for gum yet!

Did you ever think the GT might be sold and is a customers car?

let's face it, 5 days in the snow will not damage the car! If it is covered in snow, that means that salt isn't eating it!
As was said before though, having a GT there fluttering it's four eyelids at passers by will get more attention than 2

They most likely just got the GT in and they know it won't stay on the lot very long so no sense of pulling it in the show room. Isn't the average GT only on the lots for something like 2 hours?

This thread is starting to go in a bad direction, it might be wise to read this thread if you haven't already. http://forums.bradbarnett.net/index.php?showtopic=12743

umm, you do realize that at some point dealers will have more then one in the winter. It probably just came in and didnt have time to get prepped for display. I'm sure there are also a lot of $50k Expys, Excursions, and SD's outside duking it out in the cold.
