Hi all! Just wondering about two items on my '05 GT:

What are the two micro-speaker looking things on the overhead "console" where the interior lights are? There's one on each side, kinda facing toward the driver and passenger. Is it alarm related?

Also, does anyone have any info on how our gas tanks work, since I understand it's almost like two tanks shaped like saddle bags over the driveshaft. Does it drain one side completely before drawing from the other side? Does that mean we have two fuel pumps?

Just curious! Thanks in advance

The two things on the overhead console are the sensors for the anti-theft motion detector.

And I think it is one tank with 2 pumps.

But if that's true... wouldn't it be possible for one pump to run dry while the other one still had plenty of gas?

and how does the fuel gauge work?
