Big difference is the 2.5" piping all the way...
04s and older had 2.25"....so that would change the tune....
Aftermarket will change the tone,and some volume, depending on how they are engineered...
Don't worry, borla prides themselves on not making the interior too loud....but the external louder than stock.
All good in the hood mah man..

yea i thought the sound inside would be minimal cuz i know the car is gonna be sealed tight.........and im glad u can hear it inside the car like that. its sucha great sound i have a clip from the pony drive too and ohh its like music to my ears

I'll tell ya what, though.... Ford brought one out to a dealer here in Denver and the rep took the sales mngr for a spin. I figured he'd granny it around, and the dude actually ripped the tires up pretty good. I'll say it sounded much butter at higher RPMs than at idle, but I'm goin' straight from the dealer to the muffler shop when I get mine..... it sounds like a kitten purring at idle. My last 2 GTs had straight pipe from the cats back. It sounded great. I'm gettin' older now.... and am supposed to be a responsible adult

Man that was sooooo awesome! Made me like a kid sitting here giggling with a big ole grin on my face. I gotta have more! I can't believe Ford didn't bring it down here for us to drive. Gotta go watch that teaser again.

Man, I almost wasn't going to watch this one, as I'm not really interested in an automatic. Was I surprised.
I'm at work, so I had my speakers really low. After watching it the first time, though, I just had to slap on the headphones and crank it up. Awesome - made the hair on my arms stand up. Probably watched this about 20 times. "You have to turn hard left here" is still ringing in my ears.
