I'm in, will send tonight after I get off work. Taco personally helped me via PMs on both my Stripes AND my H-pipe, not to mention I've mooched off his How-Tos to get to other things. Taco is the man.

Sent! Thanks again, Bill.

FWIW, I think an engine rebuild thread would be great.

Lost for word here guys.. Thank You.

You see, this is the first time ever that I have been thanked the way you guys are doing. That's why it's so hard to type what I feel. I hope you all understand that when I say 'Thank You' it means much more than the casual 'thanks' that we use everyday.. this one is backed with Aloha.

On my Mustang front, my new shortblock from MMR is supposed to be ready sometime this week. I'll be calling tomorrow for an update.
The plan is that as soon as I pick up the shortblock, I'm dropping it off directly at my shop, then have my Mustang towed there immediately after so they can start pulling my motor out and check the condition of the heads.
That's where I stand now and hope to deliver good news later this week.

Well, I've never really used any of TacoBill's tuts...sept maybe the one on the muffs, but I have to say that people who make the effort to write up tutorials are rare, and I know it takes a lot of time. So kudos on that. If I'm ever in the area, the beer's on me.

Update:
Pistons went to coating yesterday, so it's looking like early next week. Build is going slower that I hoped for, but I guess progress is progress.

Thanks everyone for thought.

Just got done installing my Steeda pullies, thanks to another TB write-up. I will be sending something out later tonight. Less than an hour a half and no trouble at all, thanks to your write-up. Though your write-up did make me go buy a new compressor and air impact. Always makin' me spend money, I tell ya'.

Edit... donation sent. And I love the new air compressor and air tools, BTW. So I definitely can't complain. Went Craftsman, of course. I just love the look of big Craftsman pieces in a garage.
