I have the 04, trying to convice the GF to get the 05, as I wait for the Cobra...
Couple important things...always gotta have them paying from the beginning...its called building foundation.
Second, don't care what they think about what car you get...if I cared, I wouldn't have dumped the one a year ago to get the 04...lol

I can see a WIFE causing problems with getting a new Mustang but a GIRLFRIEND??? WTH? Come on with a wife you make certain promises and all that crap but with a girlfriend you are still a free man. With a wife you should talk things over and agree on large purchases to some degree but what business does a girlfriend have with regard to such things?

i just gotta chime in, since someone made the comment they'd marry the first girl into sports and cars they found. 
This is my gf maggie, these are about 8 years old (she was 16), with the 72 Mach 1 she rebuilt for her first car. She's finishing law school in the midwest, luckily she was out for a visit this weekend when I bought my first stang! We'll most likely end up married in a few years after she graduates, and she'll be inheriting the 05 when I switch up to a cobra. We've already determined we'll need room for about 25 cars since we're both so nuts about them. I thought I'd never settle down, and now I've got the best partner in the world for me 
the car alone:
