What's the good word Torrence and Rich, are you guys coming along?

Here's the latest update from Howie (he put the route together) from NJStangers:
All Right Everyone. It's just one day away from the cruise. With a group this large we are only going to make 1 stop instead of 2 as previous stated
I know a few have asked about the route, here is a brief description of it:
1st Leg:
We will be going up Route 15 to Rt 206, over the Digman's Bridge into PA, Taking route 739 in Pa to 84 West to route 402 , then some backroads to rt 209, then some more backroads to the I-80 rest stop in Water Gap, PA. (Roughly 85 miles total)
2nd Leg:
From the Pa Rest stop we are going along Route 611 (Delaware River Scenic Drive), along River Rd thru Pa to Belvidere, NJ, to Rt 46 west, to Rt 80 west, thru Worthington State Forest, then thru the walpack area back to Rt 206 and then to the Chatterbox (Roughly 67 miles)
Please make sure you are on-time for the brief drivers meeting at the Mall. I'll have a handout with the route to give to everyone. Also if you have a GPS unit, bring it. It will help with the names of the roads as some of the signs are few and far between in PA and on the backroads in NJ as well.
A few other things you might want to bring:
Some snacks and water or beverage for the ride (the PA rest stop has vending machines)
GPS Unit if you have it
A FRS radio if you have it (Please make sure the batteries are fully charged)
A warm coat as it will be cold when we get out of the cars
Please try and top off with fuel as close to the mall as possible
This is the most updated list I have of how's coming, if you don't see your name here, please pm me so I know you are coming. Also if you are listed here and are not coming, please let me know as well.

One other thing I want to stress here is that this is a "cruise" not the Cannon Ball run. With a group this large we will draw the attention of the local police and need to keep cool heads when we are out there. There are a few towns (Sparta, Jefferson, Belvidere, Portland,PA) we are going thru that love to break ***** and no one needs the headaches.

looks good, i got the car but now working Sunday 1-4 for a client. i mapquested it and i am 3 hr drive away from start so that was kinda far.
I cant wait to see some pics. try to get one of all the cars at the start!

Wow, 3 hours away is VERY FAR! Sucks you gotta work but I don't think I'd make that trip for a cruise either regardless! Definitely another time than Rich! Will definitely have pics to post I'm sure. Have a great weekend and a Happy Thanksgiving if I don't hear from you before then.

I will be there, meeting up with Ron(94tbird) at his house on the way.
You also mention not being a cannonball run, absolutely...keep in mind I lost it last year do to my summer only Z rated tires, under 60 degrees, these things turn into ice skates, let alone 40 deg.
I know most of us are running summer use tires so keep this in mind when doing any kind of maneuvers. I have been much more careful this year, the tires break loose very easy!

Haven't registered yet but I will.
Doesn't look like I'll be able to make it this time round. Wife is very sick so I have to take care of the kids.
Guess I'll have to wait till the spring for the next run unless someone is doing a toy run or something for christmas.

Excellent time and great roads. Nice meeting everyone also. Hey Ron, how bad did you blow away that charger...I let you guys go, I was going to play with him, it would have been a much bertter race...for him, Ha Ha. Katharine was yelling at me so I had to back off, something about death and precious cargo, I don't remember exactly...lol

Had a great time today, really nice seeing the TMS family again! The route was cool but definitely needed more highway to RUN and get videos but all in all we had a blast!
Sorry for those who couldn't make it, you would have had fun! Here are some pics that Joyce took. She was actually enjoying the run more than shooting pics! NJStangers Run 11.23.08
