Suggestions for Service Manual (Soft Copy)

I'm looking at these 2 on ebay, wondering if anyone's had any experience or suggestions.
Price seems pretty reasonable. I'm just worried the pages are copied images, which would not allow you to do keyword search.

Thx

I dunno by description if its a original cd or not...I got one for like 10 bucks, and one for our 98 windstar, great info- both were ford discs. If its a pdf, it shouldnt really matter I guess- will be the same info. the factory manual for the van I gotta fudge the clock to get it to open- if this ones just a pdf it ma be better in that regard ::

I got a Ford service manual on DVD that covered all Ford vehicles from 2002 to 2007 or something like that off ebay last year - you do have to set the clock back to use it but it works fine.

Anyone have a source for a printed copy of the OEM 2008 Mustang shop manual? Or are they only PDF?

There are the Chilton and Haynes manuals but I'd prefer the Ford one, if possible.

You can get them, but they are not cheap.

I paid $350 for all 3 hard copies. E-Bay never even crossed my mind.

Yeah, I'd just keep an eye on ebay for a hard copy of the factory service manual. I've bought at least six or eight FSM's off of ebay for various cars over the years, including my 2001 Bullitt, prices have ranged from $50 to $120, the newer the car the higher the cost typically.

Looks to be the same price as the cd.

I went ahead and ordered the ebay PDF cd. I'll post back what the quality is once it arrives,

I received the CD from the 1st link I posted and it's completely worthless to me. It has multiple sections for 2005, but all the other years only have wiring diagrams. I emailed the seller, but I don't expect any response.

So, lesson learned, don't waste your money.

Picked up a CD from an EBay seller for $47.

It is the factory cd for all 2008 FoMoCo cars. Works as advertised. You have to change the computer date to March 2008 for it to work.

Thanx for the heads up. I updated adobe and the online service manual pdf's open fine now.

So the question remains... are the cd's any different from the online manual?

(The online says for 2007 and last update is 6.19.06)

It looks to be the same stuff I got on CD. But when I go to that link and try to save, it saves as an html extension?

So how do you download these?
