I just got back from my dealer with a "Hard" date of 8/23 for scheduled production of my GT.
It seems that the Sept 7 job 1 is not accurate. This may mean cars will show up sooner than later

So, what does this mean exactly? Is this for sure that Job 1 is earlier than September 7th, afterall?

Would someone in the know translate all the codes at the top? And why do some cars have VINs and others have other strange numbers like FP582 5? Also, I'm not quite sure what "Sub to Plant" means.

Thanks!

Those VIN's that had "FP" at the beginning were Taurus'. His was the only Stang I saw on that sheet along with some 500's and Foci.

My dealer called & left message that he had some new info about the 05 that I have tried to place an order on. Have been waiting for a call from him since June 14th. Hopefully he will tell me that the production date has moved up to 8/23. Does everyone else think thats what this sheet means? Guess I'll wait & talk to my dealer first thing tomorrow.

Could this be the 1 or 2 "early" Mustangs talked about on the other thread?

As some of you know, I have been posting on my status for some time just to keep up on the process. I ordered early on and apparently rec'd one of the early build #. "Sub to plant" means Submitted to plant which is getting into some "Firm" build timing. Perhaps Ford means to get started early, hopefully that's a good thing. THANKS Brad for posting for me B)
