Sturgis South Dakota Mustang Ralley

I made it to Sturgis for their first Mustang car show. There were at least 200 cars for the event. They had poker runs, auto cross, drag racing, and a Mustang Shelby GT give-away(no one won it),car show and dance.I'll go again next year. The Black Hills are an awesome place to visit. There were folks from Washington,Florida and Minnesota just to name a few places. The quality of Mustangs was great and plenty of gift shops. Here is a link to the event.Pat

I just got back from there too. I found out about it when I was up there for the MC rally and decided to go back. The Mustang rally was great, lots of cars and great staff putting it on. We had a blast being there. I wish there were more venders onsite, maybe next year there will be....

There was a nice turnout for the first year. For those planning on coming next year, plan to drive to Custer State Park, and run the Iron Mountain Road and/or the Pig Tails. If these drives don't being a smile, you need help.

Just before Custer, stop in Hill City at the Alpine Inn for great German food. I didn't have much time this weekend, so I just walked through the Show & Shine. Next year I plan to participate.

I drive these roads at least twice a week for therapy.
