That vacuums! At least everyone walked away from that one... See if you can get some (non-factory) "replacement parts" out of this. Does anyone remember that song by DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince, "You Saw My Blinker (B____h)?" I think it was. I dunno, it just came to mind all of a sudden.

That sucks!!! But maybe you can use it as an opportunity to customize a bit, i.e. GT-H or Shelby front end. Glad everyone is OK.

I'm glad to know that you and your family are safe. Hopefully the insurance company does right by you, either with a quick (and excellent) repair or getting you a new car.

But the important thing is that you and your family are healthy. Sheet metal and plastic can be replaced.

Actually no the airbags did not deploy and he hit me on the side and the side airbags didnt either.

The fireman said I missed the sensor for the front airbag by like an inch, but I always thought that if you hit anywhere on the front end they would go off???

I think the airbag deploying is based on the speed and the type of hit. You don't have to "Crush" the sensor.

Just got a call, in addition to the first estimate of 8200.00 they have now found suspension damage and are sending to the service dept. to fix that. They havent even started any engine estimates yet for things that might be damaged.

you don't have to avoid me, im 14

There was one time, a long time ago, 20 years ago to be exact, my dad crashed against some old people that got in his way. The impact sent the car towards a canal. The car stopped a few inches from the edge.

Another time, much more recent (sorry dad for calling you old), My mom almost got hit by a young one driving a Mitsubishi Eclipse.
Must have come from a party.

Nu2Stangs: OUCH!!! Seeing a fellow black 'Stang banged up HURTS!!! Glad that you and your family are ok.

I am surprised that the car responsible for your mishap was a Ford and not a HONDA. IMHO Hondas are responsible for ALL car crashes. Here in L.A., every time we are stuck in freeway traffic is due to some banged-up Honda sitting by the side of the road.

I hate them!!!

Disaster has struck!!!!!!!!

This guy (pictured below) decided to do an illegal U-Turn right in front of me in rush hour traffic. He didnt even stop, I guess he just thought he could make it???

I slammed the breaks and swerved right he hit me on the left and I jumped the curb right into a big Crepe Myrtle. After I made sure my son and wife were ok and calmed down so I didnt shoot the guy(got my Permit so Im legal to carry now hahahhahah ok that wasnt funny), I actually thought it looked pretty insane.

What pissed me off even more, I asked 3 different cars to stay until the cops came since they witnessed it and they all said uh uh uh we gotta get home we gotta go we gotta do this...stupid people, I hope that karma bites them in the ***.

Anyways,
Glad to hear you and your family are fine. It just sucks when that happens. Who knows maybe the insurance comp will total it for you and get you another fresh ride.
That happened to me several years ago with a new 4x4 Blazer, but mine had some visual $17k damage on it, without looking at the undercarrage and drive chain (transfer box, tranny all locked up) so he said I can repair it or total it if you have positive equity in it. I told him I had positive equity in it so he totaled it with no questions asked. Got my check and off to a new ride.
