Strange tail light and front parking light issue
I have a 2005 GT and this just started happening today. I get out of my car and notice that the right two bulbs on my right side tail light are still on, as well as the right side parking light. They went off by themselves eventually, and were still off a few hours later. I get home and they are still off. However, about an hour later I go to leave and they are magically back on, just the right side again. I have the factory alarm on it and an aftermarket remote start. I can use the aftermarket key fob to lock and unlock the doors, but I always lock it from the inside on the door. I am leaving it unlocked for now to see if they come on. Anyone heard of this?

I got my 06 in dec 05, just pulled the cabin filter off last fall- the drains were packed with leaves/pine needle crap...mine never got the water spilling into the SJB, but I'm sure it was just a storm away...
I think the cover down there just pops off, a couple screws and dry out the SJB, and from what ive heard often it survives...if the carpets damp over there, its a pretty common issue.

Have you wired anything into the electrical system lately ? These cars have both a 12v and a 5v reference system and if you wire something incorrectly it can cause strange problems. I learned this the first time I tried to run the display dimmer wire for my aftermarket head unit. Also as the post above mentioned , check for water around the SJB as this too can cause strange problems ...

Nothing wired in within the last few years. I'm going to take a look at the SJB when I get a chance. I read at another forum where someone left the battery disconnected overnight and the problem went away. I left it that way last night so I will see what happens today. Thank you all for your replies.
