Could someone who currently has a 05 GT measure the placement of the GT badge on the fendor...I bought some running horse badges for my 05 V6, but I'm not exactly sure where to place them. The measurement I need are as follows:

1. Distance from the bottom of the car to the middle of the GT badge.

2. from the center of the GT badge to the closest part of the wheel well (measured horizonally from the ground)

Thank you so much.

Just a question: why do you need to know this before you get your car? How will you know it will look good before you have a car to actually see it on?

I actually got my car today car post
...purchased the running horse badges about a month ago...I placed them roughly on the location and they looked pretty good....they are the stick on ones...so if I deside I dont like them after awhile I can always remove them...I would just like to get the GT placement so I can place them close to the design intent of the badge placement.

ohh i see. i misunderstood what you were asking, got it now ... remember though, if you are thinking you might not like it, make sure you take it off before too long, you don't want the paint fading in two different shades

I think the v-6 needs the running horse badges to finish it off on the side. The v-6 just seems to look too plain from the side, even with the sleek lines of the car.

Where did you get the the stick on ones from Travis?

I am getting a v-6 and I was even thinking of buying some 65' badges and drilling the holes to put them on.

Travis,
The GT badge is 24" from the ground, 18" from the bottom of the car and 11" or 11.5" from the front wheel well (depending on which angle of the wheel well you measure from).

I think that black/red combo really just makes the car!

Congrads with your new Mustang! Its real real nice looking............................

I hope they work for you. The site says that fenders need to be slightly curved to fit.
