I have nearly 2 dozen chips on the front of my 05....
We've all talked about it...
I finally got something done to my car... tsb's ect...
And aside from getting 2 new rear calipers?????....
They are repainting the hood and front facia under waranty...
Has anyone else done this yet?

I've babied mine enough that it's not enough of a problem to go throught the hassel of a repaint yet, but good luck. I've got the chips too, it seems the worst on the sheetmetal, ie hood and fenders... heck, I've even got a chip in my quarter that the rear tire threw up. darn.

Wow ur cars are getting chips in them? Is ford using cheap paint or something?

I don't know if the problem's in the bonding to the metal, not enough clear, or not enough color... but yes, chips are a problem.

Very true.... mine are not just chips though....
after the chip the paint starts peeling.....
