I like the ideas I've seen posted thus far, and would like to add... I would like to have a center console dressup with styling queues from the 66 console.

I think this would really finish the interior nicely.

< --- Lives in LA and would be happy to be a project car

1. 3" exhaust from headers back (i only see a couple places that make it for the new mustang)

2. dare i ask about rear louvers on the back window?

3. as mentioned before.. a Stillen cowl induction hood would be nice

4. Stillen long tube headers?

I havn't gone to the Stillen site in a long time but I'll check it out to see what you have.

I just thought of another product that I would buy in a heartbeat if it was executed correctly.

A shift light that somehow integrates into the interior without looking like it was tacked on as an afterthought.

I’m not talking about the kind of idiot shift light like my 1986 Escort had which was intended to tell you when to shift in an effort to improve fuel economy by having you shift at ridiculously low RPM’s in an already anemically powered car.

I’m talking about shift light like the raptor claw or the ones that are attached to the huge tachometers you can buy. It has to have an adjustable shift point and again needs to be stealthy. The only time someone should know it is there is when my engine is spinning at 6200 RPM (or whatever I set it to). Ideally, it would also be brighter when my headlights are off and dimmer when they are on. My preferred location would be somewhere near the existing gauge cluster (e.g. in the spot between the tachometer and speedometer – on the underside of the bezel). I have included a picture incase my description was as poor as I fear it was.

Given that companies that focus primarily on straightline performance or flashy body ornaments for Mustang's are about as common as belly buttons, I might suggest concentrating on what Stillen currently does quite well, vehicle handling, braking and overall vehicle dynamics. Not to preclude power-adding products, but that's already a very crowded arena. And it's in the area of overall vehicle dynamics that the Mustang has the most to gain and benefit from your company's expertise.

Silly question but do you have Cal-vu replacement mirrors that use the stock electric plugs, all i see are manual to electric convesion mirrors? I love the Cal-vu mirrors, but I don't need all the heated mirror stuff or extra LED turn signal lights. I hate the stock mirrors and want to replace them ASAP. Also can they be ordered pre painted? Thanks!

Not sure how this could be done on our consoles, but I have been looking for some kind of metal molding to put on each side of my console.

555- Unfortunately I don’t have what you’re looking for. It’s possible that Street Scene might have a mirror like that. I’ll check for you.

RaGsHoCkEy88 – That might be a possibility, but it’s almost impossible to get hold of one of those cars.

Thunder Road – That’s a neat idea, but I don’t know if I could get it down to a price that people would pay. Aluminum has gotten ridiculously expensive.

Great ideas gentlemen!

I really think you could make ALOT of money doing GT500 replica body parts. I would purchase a high quality direct replica piece from Stillen in a heart beat!!

Won't Ford Racing being doing cheaper versions (no warranty) of those parts just like they did with the Cobras? I put a Cobra front end on my '03 GT and that's where I got it. Saved a LOT of money that way.

Thanks OCD!

Help spread the word guys! Surely someone knows someone who can make one! Even if it's a "cut and paste" job like I tried to do:
http://forums.bradbarnett.net/showthread.php?t=46929
Anything! I'm desperate! (but isn't that obvious by now?)

I'd be willing to pay a lot more than what any of the other aftermarket grilles are going for!

i kinda threw that idea out there....im glad u took it into consideration. after i thought about this i called the dealer and it would cost about $1000 to do the whole conversion with all the parts and paint and all that. i think if a replica can be done, it can look exactly like the gt500 but be cheaper which would make stillen a TON of money!! i think it would be a hit. id probably buy one...

That’s us. We have a lot of experience in the high performance aftermarket and want to bring that knowledge to the domestic performance arena. We hope to have a few of our first product offerings ready to sell by late October – early November. In the meantime if you guys need anything give me a call. I handle just about every major line you can think of and can usually offer a better deal than most.

Thanks

Brian

Welcome to TMS. It's always great to see when a manufacturer take an interest like this. Thanks for listening.

Can you guys make raised white letter performance tires?

If not, can you lean on a tire manufacturer to make some?

Looking forward to seeing your product offerings
