That's awesome, I would be a little nervous having my camera hanging off the side like that though. Is it strictly suction cups holding it or does it use a magnet or something else? Were did you get it, I love the in-motion pic.

Hah, sticky pods are great! I've used them quite a bit and the fun you can have is endless. That motion pic is great Bill!

Thanks guys!

No magnets, just suction cups.

Just to let you know, I have 4 coats of Zaino on my paint and once you press down on these industrial suction cups, it sticks solid! No joke.

I got it online thru Sticky Pod (Link in post #1). They offer a smaller 'My Pod' that uses 3 suction cups, but they have a speed limit of only 40mph.
I got the 'Original' which is good for over a 100mph!

From what I read on their website, it's compatible with over 99% of all cameras and camcorders as long as they have the 1/4" threaded insert (for tripods) at the bottom.

I think it's 0.050" off, but I think I can live with it!

another vid..

Here's a short vid, mainly using a 1 suction cup mount for my Canon SD550 Point & Shoot camera (in video mode).

Wind noise is pretty extreme, but I left it in to show you guys how worthless an onboard (outside) mic is when you're jamming down the road.

Launch Vid

Cool vid man, I have to tell you though, the best part of that vid is where you see the 25mph speed limit sign after just doing like 45 in first.

As long as both the suction cups and the surface it's sticking to are both clean, it'll be rock solid!

any problems with it?
For the 3 times I tried it, worked flawlessly.
