Stickon Sidescoops...

I read in the Mustang Monthly mag that you can get Stickon Sidescoops. No drilling.

Has anyone tried them yet? If so where did you get them?
Got pics?

I installed the xenon side scoops with 3M tape only about a month ago and so far I've had no problems. I bought them for atlanta mustang. Just make sure you clean and prep the area before you install them.

I installed 3D Carbon quarter side scoops.
No drilling necessary. Only 3M tape!

I installed the Ford GTCS/Shelby side scoopes with just 3M tape and all is well several months later. Actually, most are attached with 3M tape.

+1... my GT/CS side scoops are only held on by the 3M tape (I chickened out at the last second and didn't drill the holes in my quarter panels) and have been on for nearly six months with no problems.

I have the Xenon scoops as well - been on nearly a year now - installed with 3M tape only - no issues or problems at all!

I did the GTCS side scoops. I drilled the holes and used Fords grommets that came with the kit. It was an easy 5 minute install.

I dunno, but I just dont care for them at all knowing they provide no function at all. Just like stick on hood scoups. Sure you can argue cosmetic function, but that doesnt cut it.

Really I can talk with my stick ons tho, lol. Its totally an opinion and its what you want Cannon.
Pics always seem to look better, then to see something in person is what helps my decisions.

i like the xenon scoops. Seem to mold right in.

For those of you with xenon scoops, do they come in the package with dual install methods? (Tape or drill)

Not that I've seen - mine were tape only. Once they are stuck on the car, they aren't going anywhere, that 3M tape is *strong*.

What needs to be done to prep the car for putting the scoops on?

I guess we can assume you've taken off your fake gas cap then.
