Steering Wheel Shake/Vibration

Yes, the clamps are behind the wheels. You can try pulling the clips. But I am still betting on ballance.

With factory wheels though and the clips, and the factory locks. I have had no ballance problems with both the stock 18"s and the snows I have on a second set of silver factory 18"s.

I honestly don't think that the clips could be causing the issue on ANY car. The wheels would be the issue first. They are balanced independently of those clips. and, those are so light, that I don't think it would matter anyway. It may just coincidence

The clips do cause an issue.

Taking some of the TMS members' advice on this issue would save quite a few people some money. Many members have had this problem, and have taken the retaining clips off. Suddenly, no more vibration issues. This is a fast and free solution to getting rid of the problem.

Yes the clips are very light, but so are the 1/4 gram weights is see on a lot of wheels.

It isn't a coincidence. I took the clips off and no more vibration. I didn't have my wheels balance or aligned. People would have to be crazy not to try this first before spending more money.

Just trying to help some fellow TMS members out.

Its not the fact that the clips are throwing the balance off, its the fact they do not allow the aftermarket wheels to mount flush up against the hub.
