I wonder why Ford didnt use the chrome emblem in this picture? I think its so sweet. I wonder if its available for purchase anywhere?

They didn't use the same shifter **** either. I just wonder why they didn't? I like the thing you pointed out about the steering wheel also. Just baffles me as to why Ford changed quite a few things before launch.

hmm... if your airbags went off that pony emblem would make a nice imprint on your forehead.

I would hope the bag would be what your head hits. I don't think the emblem goes into launch sequence. lol

I think a machined aluminum **** would fit the IUP better. I hope someone makes one soon that will fit the '05

well in my fist 65 stang got into an accident and on the sterring wheel had ford mustang on the tri-bar horn area . i had the imprint of ford mustang on my chest backwards for over two months. so it could be because of some safety related issue.

i asked myself about this too. i would buy it aftermarket. im doin a few little dress up mods to start off.....new pedals or pedal covers and new lock pins

Ouch! The old spear-o-matic wheel. Nice hard piece of steel right in the center. But heck, it does look good!
