STEEDA air intake spacer for 2006 GT

can anyone tell me if they have installed this part from Steeda? i have the stock air intake right now but planning to upgrade to Steeda CAI next year. how easy is it to install? im not an avid mechanic, so i dont want to mess things up. thanks

Don't waste your money on the spacer. Get the Steeda CAI with the inlet elbow and a tune.

Has anybody seen any improvements from inlet spacers; numbers wise or seat of the pants?

No improvment... but it makes a pseudo turbo sound at WOT.

Not worth a dime in performance....
But I am kicking around the ideas of using it as a tie in point for my nitrous.
Seems like the perfect location to tap into the intake. The swirley action might even aid in dispersal?????

Why not tap straight into the intake inlet tube?
