The Stang back in Sweden...(yes!!!)

Finally got my Mustang back to Sweden, after 2 great years in Maryland!

Got it registred here last week and washed her good yesterday after it had been in the container for 4 weeks. It was needed.....hehe, but now the car is all shiny again!

Missing the good weather in Maryland...so here driving is on good days without rain!

Will try and post some pictures later on.

How much did you have to pay in taxes/customs? *I bet it almost came close to the price of the car when new. *Congrats !! *I'm sure its a very unique ride there..

No tax!
No customs!
Minimum modifications to apply for Swedish regulations (only had to do the clear parking/turn signal in the front + VIN# attached somewhere in the engine compartment). Reason is that the car is considered a part of my household goods when I moved back. If I sell it within 1 year I get to pay tax and customs....

...but I wont sell it! It kicks major a** , and attracts peoples attention to say the least.

Congrats! Given how much attention my GT gets here in New Mexico, I can't image how much attention one would get in Sweden!

Oh, and I think Dustin actually has a good idea...

I used a local shipping company based out of Sweden. They were working with a company in Baltimore for exporting it and loading it into the conatiner and on the vessel. It was about 1300USD in total.

1300 isn't bad, considering. I expected it to be a lot more than that.
