Sportrac/Andrenalin?

I've always felt you should not comment on a car's price/performance equation unless you can afford either of the models you are comparing -- this avoids any subconscious bias you can conjure up.
If you can't afford a Saleen which yes, does cost more than an SVT (but offers a lot more performance for more money), then you should stick to comparing lesser models unless you are an editor for Road & Track. It's funny how some folks dislike things they've never really learned about or even have driven; the new GT500 is quite honestly a bore to look at when you think that it costs $25,000 MORE than a V6... a Corvette still presents more bang for the buck (and I don't own a Corvette, but have driven the Z06 once). Just my opinion, m'kay.
Oh yeah, the S-331 starts around $37,000 -- if you look at the fact that a Ford Explorer Limited is $44,000 -- the amount suddenly doesn't seem so outrageous considering this pickup has four seats and more HP.
