I was wondering if any one here has had problems with The Spoiler Factory.Com. They are of course an on line spoiler dealer. I must say I have had the worst experience with them. They are rude they do not know a thing about customer service and they have lied to me on each call I have made to they. I placed a very simple order for a set of ¼ window louvers and their web site says nothing about the time it take to receive an order besides the shipping time so I felt it was completely reasonable to expect the order based on their info posted. Then to come to fine out there is a wait for painting which is fine that makes sense I would have liked to know that up front and then them seem to have no way to track your status at all once ordered. Long story short they have really screwed up my order I call today and tell them they sent me the wrong thing they sent me the trunk spoiler no the window spoiler. Need less to say I am very disappointed with them and I just wanted to see it this was the same service others have received and if no one else has ordered from them to give an FYI to everyone. It may be just my dumb luck but I have called them several time and each time it has been the same service.

I have never heard of them. My experience has taught me to shop with the bigger names. The Street Scene louvers on that website are $189... they are only $158 on cal-mustang. I'd cancel my order with the spoiler factory and start shopping with cal-mustang and partshopper.

They were sugggested by some one on one of the forums and I thought they would be pretty good. I wanted louvers that were already painted. I did not want the hassel of finding some here local the wait etc. Hind sight is always 20/20 would have been better else where. They said I should have them by this Sat but I ordered them on 5/14

I understand you want them painted, but you could get the $157 unpainted ones, create a makeshift paint booth, and spray them with a few coats of factory-match spray paint and then some clearcoat. You'd probably come out spending less on painted louvers from cal-mustang than unpainted ones from the spoiler factory.

Would you recommend painting a chin spoiler in the same fashion, or would it be subjected to to much abuse?

I'd get the chin spoiler done professionally. Mainly because it's going to be very flexible and paint shops have special paints and techniques for painting flexible bumpers, etc. Smaller things like louvers or sideview mirrors you can do yourself and save some cash. Here is where I am getting my paint when I paint my louvers... www.expresspaint.com
