Delete. My sis-in-law's V6 looks fantastic with the clean look. I wish I'd ordered mine without it. It looks good but, as others have said, it could be a pain if you want to add a ducktail later.

Delete. Spoilers, especially non-functional cod-pieces as on the Mustang, have long ago ceased being some mark of performance distinction now that they are tacked on just about every other econocar on the road today.
The S197 has great basic lines that are best shown neatly and cleanly without the automotive equivalent of gold chains.

I didn't want a spoiler, but bought off the lot. I actually like it alot. It kinda finishes the rear, atleast spices it up a bit. It's not big and clunky and is thinner than the previous gen Mustangs and best of all, it blocks those freaking HID's from your rear view when at a light.
If you like it, get it. If not, don't. The thing that blows is it cost the same with or without and they don't offer you the spoiler you'd get just incase you change your mind. You'll have to shell out $300 bucks or more to add a spoiler. But you can always have a body shop fix the holes if you decide later you don't like it.
Either way, your still getting an awesome car!

Delete!!!!!!! I could'nt in Canada in 05 so I paid a body shop to remove it. I went without one for many months untill I got the Street Scene duck tail . If I want to go back to plain or something else it is only stuck on with tape and can be easily removed or re-installed . I keep all the parts I have removed so if I should ever sell it ,its equipment will match its original factory window sticker.

Delete, will give you more options!!!!

Mark me down for another DELETE vote.
www.ponybuilder.com will let you look at your car from the front and rear with any spoiler option you want. You need to order it deleted. If you really have to have it in the future, Ford must have a couple laying around with all the deletes ordered!

Sounds like I'm definitely in the minority... but I like the GT spoiler. I just think it makes the rear look better.
Now an INTEGRATED ducktail... I'd like that the best (now that would be fun to stamp).

Heck, just look at the word: SPOILer. It spoils the good looks of the otherwise HOT Mustang! Your decision, naturally, but I would go without. Especially if you're tinkering with the idea of adding something of your own later on down the road.
Besides, I kind of like the way the rear end tapers without the ridiculous "trunk wing."
