How about ORANGE?

Thanks for the reply and Orange sound wicked! Now my next question, how do I approach a dealer on ordering? Dealer allocation is my concern. Do I hit a small dealer or try the larger ones? Thanks for any info you can provide. Urgency is not an issue from a dealer, but honesty is!

As long as you are not trying to get a GT500 then I don't see that it really matters if the dealer is large or small for wheeling and dealing. Just shop around until you find one willing to give you the price you ask for. If you can buy on the x-plan, then it becomes even easier since you won't have to haggle on price, you only need to find a dealer willing to sell a mustang on the x-plan.

How close are you to Victor, NY? Van Bortel Ford sells almost all their cars at or below invoice. (No Shelbys, GT supercars, etc) Salesmen don't work on commission. No haggling. Just a rock bottom price.
That's where I bought mine and I live in Alabama.
Otherwise don't worry about allocation. There are plenty of Mustangs to go around now. Just do all the research. Know exactly what options you want. Know exactly how much you'll pay BEFORE you go. I wouldn't pay more than invoice if you're going to order it. No more than $500 over invoice if they have the EXACT car you want on the lot. (the dealer makes his money in other ways... don't let them tell you any different) Know when to walk away and you'll get a good deal.
