Thumbs up

Just thinking out loud here...does anyone else think this color would look cool on a GT? Or is it too much "pimp my ride"?

(sorry for the size - couldn't find a smaller)

I'd get one in that color. Ford GT would look great in that!

Oh, you mean for a Mustang GT. Um... Well... It's not bronze/emberglo, but I think it'd be ok.

it looks cool, but probably not cool enough to justify the custom paint job

Hmmm, note the non-color matching mirrors... look familiar?

It looks like Steeda's custom "Beryllium" color. It's nice.

Yeah, what I like about it it's the way it's almost a clear yellow metallic in the highlighted areas while a deep rich orange, almost red, in the "shadowy" parts.

On a stang, I think it would set out the nuances in the body shape just great. There's a lot of angles and indentations you don't see to well, especially with a solid paint.

My fav of the stock ones is probaby the graphite grey like my avatar though. But I'm ambiguous after seeing the windveil blue.

That's not ricey, its Italian, and a very nice color for a Stang, too bad Competition Orange isn't offered this year.

that is a very nice colour, a stang could pull it off easy, just make sure to not over do it.

That's a beautiful color! Rice? No way! At least it's not primer gray.

This is as close as I could come to it in 5 minutes...

I think that the colour is great, but think it would look better on a vintage Mustang.........

Yeah, when I posted the top picture I actually had the 1970 Twister Special in mind, although they had a solid yellow color.

Dr Iven that looks great! That's what I meant.

If you find the time to chop a perspective pic of the GT, possibly with black racing stripes, it'd be awesome. I so lack the skills necessary. :worship:

That's funny because I was just thinking about that today while daydreaming about when I'm getting mine.

I was sitting here listening to 311's song "Amber." And I thought about how that would be a good color for the Mustang. Maybe lighter than the Competition Orange...More of a Light Tangerine. Orange is my favorite color anyway, so that would be awesome (for me at least). Too bad they don't come in the variety of colors like they used to.

That Lamborghini sure is a nice-looking car, but I'll have to pass on the color. This color didn't seem to do very well. I saw it on Cadillacs and 350Z's. The Z stayed longer on the lot than others when they first came out. Most unusual colors affect resale value in a negative way.
