Saw this on the way home - made me sick - a white Eclipse wasn't paying attention. Ouch. I was coming the opposite direction and missed it by about 15 seconds.

I think everyone was ok...

There is a seriously large number of 05 'Stangs getting vandalized, hit or destroyed on this forum! I'm scared...

 

This just stinks! I wish the best in their repairs. I was going down the highway tody when I was almost hit, some old man just decides he wants to change lanes with NO WARNING and almost hits my girl, I had to hold back myself from chasing him down, I cant imagine what I would do in that situation above.

Yesterday while stopped at a light in traffic waiting to turn right, I see in my rearview a van coming quick and realized that he wasn't going to make it . I usually leave myself a lot of room in front for just this reason, but not this time. Fortunately, the van realized he wasn't going to make it either and ran off the road to my right. He did miss me... but I'm still shaking... my car is only 4 days old.

 

I hope everything works out for the owner of the Stang! As for the Eclipse

I had somebody just sit at an intersection staring at me today. I had no idea what he was going to do. He finally pulled away and made a right turn. I pulled out and made a left turn bringing me along side of him. He's staring at me the whole time, and eventually starts drifting over into my lane. I floor it and rip past him . . . I guess he wanted a show.

People are mesmerized by our cars. The NTSB may outlaw them. Mustangs are a danger to all.

 

So sad that people can't pay attention when they're driving in the city or anywhere, for that matter. :nono: Hope everybody is OK. Poor Stang!!

 

yeah the day AFTER i picked up my car i was at my parents house...ready to leave to go back to my place in a town 40 miles away

a pickup truck from a local company pulls out infront of me...scared the crap outta me

then last saturday i was driving to the fireworks in a larger city here and some guy sees the stoplight ahead (pedestrian only) and is going to take a left (well he cant) and pulls over like he is turning....then after he slowed down he cut me off...i seriously had to slam on my brakes to avoid him

then on wednesday night i was giving a buddy a ride on the highway when a coon the size of a small dog ran across the left lane in front of me, i swerved to the right and missed him....darn this stang has some nice responsive turning

 

Haha! It is amazing how people drive when they are around these cars. Does anyone else have the problem of when talking off from a stop light, the fat-AXX in the SUV next to you or behind you always has to put the petal to the metal? They look all mad when you don't try running a 1/4 mile from light to light, and have to jerk the wheel over to pass @ 5500 RPM? It’s amazing how a mustang can turn the other cars around it into methane dragsters! Gas mileage for some people on the way to my work has probably gone down significantly in the last few weeks!

P.S. I have had the same problem in the left turn lane. I can't tell you how many times somone has almost taken the rear quater off. There's not much you can do in rushhour but give a little extra room. Sometimes this isn't even enough.

Driving the Shelby is like that also, its so hard to get thru traffic becuse so many other drivers are pacing along next to you staring...aaargh
