Nice car Chris. I like the doors. I am hunting down some blue leather to match my Sonic Blue car to do the same thing since good ol' FORD only offered it in RED. :nono:

Dye some vinyl. It'll work. Or are ya a leather snob?

Chris, once again I must sing praise for your car and your choice of colors! I'm starting to get depressed about having bought my Audi. Wish I had kept my '01 V6 coupe just a while longer...

Adrenalin, your car is my second favorite colour (:moose. I was hooked on the sonic blue for a while, but changed my mind because I've had so many blue cars and need a change. Your stripes kick butt, period. The stripes should be standard on all '05's since the hood is like a mile wide! They help break up the space.

I altered a photo of the interior in Photoshop and made the seats blue. They look great! Ford SHOULD offer them, along with legend lime and yellow. Maybe in '06? '07? Am I the only nut that took photos of Mustangs on the lot that weren't even mine?

Got a few buddies in Toronto and Montreal... hope you fellas are driving carefully up there!

Now that's what I call BAAAALLLLLLUUUUEEEEE interior. I am actually looking for a shade darker so it doesn't clash too much with the dark charcoal interior.

Leather looks better. Why replace something nice with something cheap? :notnice:

Vinyl seats? This isn't a Jeep Wrangler.

I just emailed a company that makes just the thing, here is their site:
www.katzkin.com
I will let you know what I find out.

Oooh that's a good find! I'll bet you anything he's working on some 05 Stang stuff.

He's got the perfect darker red for what I want to do. An ICAP light if you will. Redo the door panel inserts, and the inside part of the speaker grill in a dark red to match up with my Redfire with medium parchment interior, instead of the dark charcoal inserts that come with the IUP.

That blue is along the idea of what I'm hoping to do aftermarket at some point. A shade of blue that is less brilliant than the one above - perhaps more gray mixed into the color. Thanks for that pic Chris - I've saved it and will be looking at it a lot!!!

I have heard of that company before. They make good stuff. Can't wait to see what they have in store for the new stang.

Yeah, it's pretty bright! I meant to tone it down a bit, but it was a quick photoshop thingy. The original color was red. All in good fun!

Seriously though, if Ford can make a RED color accent package, why can't they just substitute another color leather? Would it really slow down production all that much?

My pleasure, Ken. I like to experiment with pics I've taken. I told someone how I achieved those results; it was surprisingly quick and easy!

It's all just food for thought. I'd like to offer another variation, but I'm afraid I'll be banished to the "Photoshop" thread.

How 'bout a SCREAMING YELLOW interior for all you yellow ponies?
