Sold the '11....bought an '08

Yep, we did.... Sold the GT/CS manual and bought an 08 GT Vert auto premium.
Bad knees, the desire for another vert, and because we can... Don't miss the power on the street and we do not track anything anymore so the drop to the 4.6 is no big deal....just having a V8....plus we are tired of paying the outrageous new car prices....

It has been a garage queen never seeing rain. Upgraded wheels and tires, remote start, active security, boot, ambient lighting, IUP....just one sweet vert. No plans for mods now, just a couple of minor things like hood struts and different mirrors.

Sorry about the knee. I totally understand, having had a left knee injury back in the early 90's that lasted for months. No way I could shift.
You certainly replaced your old Mustang with another sweet Mustang. Nothing wrong with that. Enjoy!!

Looks really nice. Those chrome wheels really set off the silver color.

Congrats. I would rather have a knee replacement then go back to an auto. My 02 GT is one and my wife loves it.

I'm sure it had to feel disappointing when you had to sell your 11 GT but I can definitely understand why especially with having a bad knee and most of all due to much higher payments as well..

Anyhow I really like your 08 vert and hope you have many great years of enjoyment with it.. Congrats

Nothing wring with going back to the older style.

When I bought my '12 5.0, I decided to keep my '05 convertible, because I knew I would regret selling it - plus its was paid for. The '05 is my garage queen and the '12 is the daily (and winter) driver.

Happy cruising!

Thanks for the comments. One nice thing...the '11 was paid for and so is the '08, just did not want to go into new car payment and initial $$$ losses when taking it off the lot.

The '08 still has a new car smell too....I am just amazed every time we take it out. The Agent47 mirrors should be here soon....had them on our '07 GT vert and the wife insisted I get them soon...

Those wheels really do set it off. This is about the 6th car we have had that is some grey/silver and we really like the Vapor.

This is our current "pair" until we decide on what will replace the '02...looking at a couple of '06 verts.

Why get rid of '02?

I also really like how those rims set of the vapour. I have those rims on my '05 as well. Really make a big difference.
