I'm planning on picking up either a new hood with scoop or just a scoop if I can find one that I like. Anyways my car is Vista Blue but I wanted to keep the scoop black. What do you guys think of that and would you go flat black or gloss black. Anyone have any pictures of anything like this even if its not Vista Blue. Just trying to get opnions and an idea of what it would look like.

 

Matte Black 100% gloss looks kind of tacky in my opinion, the matte gives it kind of a retro look.

Thanks for the pics . I'm pretty sure i'm going to go Matte Black. I just have a hard time pictureing a gloss black scoop on a different color car . Now I just have to find a scoop I like.

 

Since you asked...IMHO, if you're only going to paint the scoop, I vote body color. If you're going to do part of the hood, matte black like Yellow's.
