So, here i was at 7-11

So after spending a nice saturday afternoon at my folks , i was all set to drive home when i decided to get some o that delcious slurpee from 7-11. As im comin out of the store, i see a brand spankin new Redfire 05 GT with all the goodies in it. Im admiring the car when the owner of the red beauty walks up and compliments on my 95 gt. We make small talk but i tell him "an 05 is an 05", "always nice to see a fellow stanger". Told him im still contemplating on ordering mine on x-plan but dealerships that ive been too are giving me the run around and no one seems to come up with straight answers. Thanks to this site, some of the sales ppl im dealing with don't want me to be seen in their delaership. 
Anywho, so he gets inside the GT takes out his card and i look at what it reads:-
General manager : Consumer / Governement Relations : Ford of Canada. For a second, this is me:- :shock:
He tells me to come by the headoffice downtown and he could hook me up with some insider "finance rates and an x-plan. If i wanted to pay cash, could work soething out and will guide me which dealer to go to as allocation should be my main concern at this point. Nice guy.
Best 7-11 stop over ever made.

General manager : Consumer / Governement Relations : Ford of Canada. For a second, this is me:- :shock:
He tells me to come by the headoffice downtown and he could hook me up with some insider "finance rates and an x-plan. If i wanted to pay cash, could work soething out and will guide me which dealer to go to as allocation should be my main concern at this point. Nice guy.

I'm going over to see him thursday of the coming week. Turns out this guy is resposnsible for "monitoring allocations for each dealership". So he said. He knows exactly how many and how soon can which dealship get. That ought to save me some time.

I made peace with the BLACK colour a looooonnngg time ago, and maaan was caught up between those two colours. If someone can realllly convince me on the redfire i might go for that, but for now, black it is.
I just hope my wife doesnt find out i've already decided on that colour cuz redfire was her first choice.

Galaxie, i'll keep that in mind. I think i had a chance to meet the son of the owner once. Young guy, can;t remember his name, met him once at the autoshow last yr.

"an 05 is an 05"???? go black....its bad **** and I get tons of compliments, everyone loves black it looks the best.
