wow, lots of galpin backlash here.

Picked my 05 up from them 11/5. Of all the cars I've helped friends and family buy (heh, about 3-4 a year, i guess you could call it a hobby ) and bought for myself, I've never had a smoother deal. I guess it depends on your salesman, and with the dozens and dozens there, you're bound to get some bad experiences. *shrug* They have gone above and beyond for me, providing a free rental when my car was in for stereo upgrades, and even going as so far as rewriting my deal to include those upgrades in the financing.

I'm in santa monica, drive to work in hollywood everyday. If you see a tinted MG with blacked out 17" wheels, wave!

I am in North OC, still waiting on my car but so far I have seen 2 - V6's in Brea a black with gold stripes and a redfire with the exterior sport package.

I saw a yellow GT (no stripes) going south on the 405 about two weeks ago near the 110.

And that's it so far for in the wild sightings for me at least.

Can't wait to take delivery of my car (whenever they decide to build it... IUP...)

Hang in there NosferatuVI, we've put 700 miles on the V6 manual, and will very soon start pushing her. It's already pretty fun, there's no way we would have been happy with the auto. As for the IUP good luck!

Future mods:
Ducktail very soon!
45% tint all the way around
Intake and exhaust as they become availible for the V6!
and as soon as the tires wear out, nice fat white walls!
Maybe the SCT ECU flash if I can talk my wife into it!

Seen two or three in El Cajon and one downtown SD at the start of the 94 freeway. Even the colors I don't care for are just so awesome! I can't take my eyes off that car - thankfully no accidents caused yet.

Love the idea of a SoCal meeting but won't get my GT until spring or summer (and I don't know if I could stand seeing all of you with yours if I don't have one too!)

I really haven't seen that many. I saw one White GT, two torch red 6's, and one White 6 who put dual exhausts and fake foglamps up front to make it look like a GT.

I ordered my 2005 Mustang in November from Ford West. They verified it was accepted by the plant on Dec 1st, but they won't have any more allocations until January. The salesman told me that he should have my VIN by mid Jan, and he hopes the car will be delivered by the end of Jan. I cannot wait. I've seen a few V6's on the road, but no GT's.

B) I got mine from Galpin. Called them a wed night for info on prices and left my # with a salesman. Got a call back next evening telling me they got one in that morning, "Would you like to come and drive it?" I'm glad there were no cops around on the way there, cause I probably broke a few laws getting there! The salesman I met was very nice and friendly (for a salesman who wants to sell you something) They quoted me MSRP plus $397.00 for an alarm. They did lowball me on my trade in (98 Ranger 4x4)but I was ready to get rid of it. After two test drives, I agreed to buy Drove it home an hour later. The next day I gave it a good looking over and found several little details that were not visable at night, glue from the shipping covers on the bumpers, a scratch on the bumper, two small scratches on the roof. I went back and showed the sales manager who wrote me a repair order including a rental car for as long as it took to repair. They fixed everything to my satisfaction in one day. Overall I'm pleased with the way they took care of me before, during and after the sale.

I live in Orange County and picked up my baby on Oct 24th......Most of the dealers here have loads of v-6's but GT's are still very hard to come by. Here are pics of mine.

Black, IUP, ICAP, 5 Spd, Shaker 1000, Upgraded to XM.....but oh so many mods to come.....
