I took delivery of my Redfire GT from Santa Monica Ford on 10/27. I enjoy every minute in it.

Other than rrobello's and JessicaRabbit's GTs which I saw last weekend, I've only seen one other '05 GT in So Cal. It was a Satin Silver GT on the 10 freeway on the westside of L.A. a couple of weeks ago. I've seen lots of V6s though.

Oh yeah, we also saw that Performance White GT with the aftermarket wheels at lunch last weekend in Laguna.

I had seen 3 previous to taking delivery of mine, then I saw Steve and Ricks last weekend, and the girl with her white GT.

I havent seen another one since that day... Kinda strange, normally after you buy a car EVERY one pulls up next to you in the same car, its been the opposite with this one.

yeah I was just about to ask...I noticed that most of you have had your car longer than I have so where were you last weekend, it wouldve been sweet to have all of you there.

 

i live in venice beach and drive to pac pali for work and see a grip of V6's, only 1 gt so far, I cant wait till mine comes in from midway ford.
BTW the people at Airport Marina Ford are the d*mbist f*cks I have ever met

B) Took delivery 11-9 from Mossy Ford. Wife crusies the beach daily in SD.

 

Bought my torch red GT on 12-20-04 at Mossy (San Diego). I live in Rancho Bernardo.

I've seen only two or three other GT's on the road so far.

I love this car. Just wish I could figure out how to put a full tank of gas in it.

 

I'd love to see a socal pony gathering, unfortunately I work weekends. Maybe I can send a post card.

What kind of hours? Unless you work some part of the service/medical field, you shouldnt be working 12 hour shifts... We can try to do a weeknight thing too if everyone is up for it...

 

I would love to see a night that is in the middle of the week or any weekday other than friday

 

I picked up my GT on the 22nd of Nov. I have not posted much lately because I am either entertaining family and friends for the Holidays or cruising around town in this........

Just curious where you got your stripes at? I'm in San Diego(Pacific Beach). Picked my Mineral Grey/Dark Charcoal GT up at Bob Baker the day before Thanksgiving. They had stripes that you could add, but they were vinyl decals. What do you have?

They are vinyl.. I had them installed By Modern Image out in Miramar ...They do most of the graphic work for JBA... It was not a kit..They had a very hard time with mine.. It was there first Shelby stripe job they had done on the 05, But it came out Great They did tell me that they would not touch another one for less the 650.00 Mine was 450.00 because of all the extra time it took them to get it right...

 

Work 6pm-6am Fri-mon with a short 8 hour night tuesday.

 

From the Inland Empire, received mine a week before Thanksgiving!

 

Ordered my 05 Gt in July picked it up Nov 10th. Got it from Galphin. Galphin used to be a great dealership, but they have gotten greedy. I can get x plan pricing, which they refused, and then they blackmailed me to get an aftermarket alarm even though I bought the car with Fords factory alarm. BTW their alarm was double the price of FORD's...

 

Yeah and thats just scratching the surfase of how crappy they are....NO ONE BUY FROM GALPIN!!!! They stink.

 

finally saw a 05 GT Sonic Blue. Was at Edwards 22 in Ontario Mills and saw it comming. Gave the driver a wave and a thumbs up as he drove by.
