The current status of my car is shipped via Rail carrier as of Dec 2nd.
Was wondering if any one knows where the Rail yard for the southern california region is and how long do you think it will take for the car to reach from the yard to the dealer? Dealer located in Long Beach, CA.

I am thinking that rail journey should not take more than 5 days, is that a good guess?

Thanks

I heard the rail yard is just southeast of the intersection of the I-15 and Pomona Fwy 60, near Ontario. You can see it from the freeway in that direction.

I need help guys, my car is in the status of shipped via Rail Carrier since Dec 2nd.
I live in Southern California, do you guys think its normal for it to take 8 days to make the trip form Mich to here.
Does the car get held up at the rail yard for a few days, till they have enough to put on the carrier?
Ford is giving a delivery date of Week of Dec 13th. I know patience is a virtue but I was hoping I could be one of those who get their car earlier than expected.

I know the feeling, especially when you're this close. All I can tell you is I ordered 9-15 and received my car 11-15 here in So, Cal. I don't know about the train ride, but getting your mind off it for a couple of days might help you. I also know that is not what you really wanted to hear!

I talked to my sales manager last night. Yes, the rail car place is by Ontario. I was told my car might get there before christmas, but not till the dealer till after Christmas. He said he would personally drive out there and get it if that happens.
