Hey guys.

Well... maybe i'm just a bit paranoid w/ my 05 but when i'm driving at a slow speed and turning my wheel.... I hear a skreeching noise... I mean it's not totally annoying or anything... i'm just wondering if yall get this too? I'm thinkin my steering wheel needs to be broken in some more (my stang only has 100 miles on it so far).... am I right?

Also... when i'm parking my car... once it's parked and I let go of the brake... I also hear a skreeching noise (not too annoying as well).... again... maybe i'm just too paranoid... but do my brakes need to be broken in as well for the noise to stop?

Sorry i'f im sounding really stupid right now... I just really want to be reassured about this whole situation.

Thanks for the help

I had a noise just like that coming out of my rearend. They replaced my clutch packs, and resolved it. But then another noise appeared so they are replacing my whole rearend.

Low speed steering, that noise sounds like it might be the power steering pump. Are you holding the wheel at full lock? if so, try to hold it just a little before full lock, or you might damage the ps pump. If not, take it back to the dealer and get them to fix it!
