Can you get sirius satelite radio on the 05 Mustang? It was an option on the 2004, but I haven't heard anything about it as a factory option on the 05.

With 4200mb of mp3 playing capability why do you need satalite radio?

Kevin b can debunk this one, but this is where I was told to go for Fords factory sound systems to learn up. Maybe because the shaker is in the Mustang, and they haven't built the Mustangs yet?

Anyhow- I need my daily dose of Fred Ethel Lucy and Top tracks to keep me unmedicated....I highly recommend xm. Just cause it's that good.

I own tons of CD's, but I like to listen to the radio so I can buy MORE of them...I don't know what's playing if I don't listen. Besides...it's kinda nice to let someone else do mixes sometimes...they pick out stuff that you wouldn't necessarily do.

I'm with you eleanor...I've already got my XM receiver sitting in my front room (it hooks to the aftermarket stereo sitting underneath it).

From the car to the yard to the house, you never have to be without it. Loving it. Also- Sirius doesn't have a home kit.
AND not many people have em. I like having things no one else has.

You can hook up sirius at home, they have boombox's and a kit so you can hook sirius up at home. If you only got am/fm sirius is the only sat radio that can broadcast over fm modulator. Sirius also has better sports coverage than xm, they cover all the NFL games.

Once you have satelite radio, you will NEVER go back to your local stations ever again. Satelite radio is sweet. Although I do not like the antenna needed to use on an aftermarket system, does anyone or has anyone seen what they use on the current stang?

Ummm...
I get XM over a modulator in the other vehicle...So that one doesn't fly.

You can also use it from the PC, but who would want to? Thats what the home kit or Boombox is for.

Three words:

Opie & Anthony

If they go to Sirius, it's done, i'm there.

I'm hopin the 05 is Sirius compatible, but hopes are not up. I'll drop the cash for the kit in car and at home and be done with it.

They gave us Al Franken! Ugh. Xm got two new channels- America left and right. They also Canned Bubba the love sponge off the radio show channels He amused me. ( I know he got fired but still) and Won't take Stern, which I think is good... But I'm female.
And if you want ANY kind of interesting drive time talk you have to go with the sat. radio- our morning show fun here only runs 3 ways- two morons talking about their kids, two mornons with Vulcan the talking statue or two morons talking about being fat(and of course John Boy and Hillbilly). Yeech.
Give me some classic rock 24 hours a day, and I am pleased.

agreed, O&A are in the same boat, clear channel is owned by Viacom, who took them off the air (and continue to pay them $30 million) and clear channel owns XM, so looks like sirius is making some headway, should everyone start to escape the McCarthyism that US Congress is doing for your 'betterment' (my ****, 89 million watched the super bowl, 200,000 complain about Janet, less than 1%, and we have to shake the earth and move it to make the minority happy, blegh) and come to satellite radio.

We havent heard anything thus far about the 05 bein Sirius compatabile, so im not getting my hopes up...just to stay on topic.

I am sure you can get it in the 05 because you can now.

I agree, I did not know CC owned XM, but I had it for a year and a half before I found out about it, and have gotten used to the amusements in it. Give me the MJ morning show and I will be happy.
