A little off topic, but Silver was named the Hottest color for 2005 cars.

Silver is ok, but too common and blends in too much. Doesn't stand out. IMO.

that may be so on other cars, but i've gotten ALOT of attention. i think it brings out the detail of the lines better.

I love the silver! Its my new first choice for color! I saw a nice lowered one with dark tinted windows the other day that just nabbed me! It was beautiful!

Silver is the lowest maintenance colour.

My wife drives her Focus ZX5 for ages without a car wash...and it always looks good.

Contrast that with my 'twilight' blue '90 Mustang. The next morning after a wash and wax there already is a film of dust visible that dulls the appearance...also, dents, dings & scratches really show themselves much more on the darker colours.

The windveil blue comes pretty close to silver in terms of maintaining a clean look.

haha I do love my yellow 02! There are just so many of them running around Jax! All kinds too! I saw a nice 2002-03 with a nice aftermarket hood, hood pins and all sorts of exterior decoration. I finally saw the rearend and it had one muffler. I think that can be considered rice.

i dont care what color a stang is... you'll catch me sneaking a glance whether its a V6 or Mach or Cobra.

Agree silver is way too common. I love red. my 3 stangs have all been red. my next stang has to be a black cobra tho!!

almost all colors are common with the mustang, with a few exceptions. I dont see how black or red is any less common than silver.

I ordered Silver.

At first I thought it was too bland in pictures -- then I saw a guy the other day at the gas station with his silver v6 and it washed away all my concerns.

Man - that silver is sharp - classy and sleak.

Can't wait to see my ICAP against the silver with tinted windows.

SHARP

I also like silver but when I saw a 05 silver Gt in person, I thought the color was too light of a silver. As my girlfriend and I looked through the window before we went in the showroom, She said that she thought the car looked white.I wish I could hold out for the titanium colored offered in the 06 model but my cobra has been taken off the road to sell and all I have left are my winter beaters.
Winter beater #1- 1992 red fire Mercury Topaz 109,000 miles-drive it on the days with no snow. Good gas milage!!
Winter beater #2-1987 Chevy Suburban- A monter of a truck 6500 lbs, New chevy 350( 4 barrel) 4 wheel drive. Only drive it when there is snow. Get about 8-9 miles per gallon. 40 gallon tank 80 something dollars to fill the beast up.
Sorry about getting off topic- cabin fever setting in!!!! - 25 to- 30 below 0 forcasted for fridays weather in upstate NY

Silver was also a possible choice for me, but figured I wouldn't be able to spend as much time cleaning it as I would with Black

I'm liking the Silver! The red interior really sets it off, IMO. In low light conditons it does take on other colors. Plus, it even looks pretty good with a little dirt on it.

My '04 F-150 is black (as was my '01 and '99) and I have a tough time keeping it clean. I do think that when it's clean, black is awesome.

Black is the hottest, especially with a black interior, try letting one of those sit out in the Florida sun for awhile and get in.

Silver is dull, boring, and timid. I rank it right next to gold.
It looks great on Buicks.
