No disrespect to your grandpa but if you want to get a 2005 in its place I'm sure he'd been fine with that.

i wouldnt sell it. personally i dont have much to remember my Grandfather by and i wouldnt really wanna get rid of ne thing he gave me. why dont you save it and save up for an 05, if thats what you wnat, anyway. that way you could have the best of both worlds.

I think you would regret selling the car in the end.

If you can afford it, get an '05 and keep the cobra as a weekend car.

I think he would understand if you sold it, unless you told him you'd keep it forever.

Not sure what this has to do with the 2005 Mustang, unless you're selling it to get an '05.

Did your grandfather buy it for you with the stipulation that you would never sell it? If the answer is no, you're free to do whatever you want.

i think youd be making a HUGE IREVERSIBLE mistake

put it on blocks and take it out on sundays and keep it in mint condition .. thats the best way to keep it..and 20 years from now youl tell your kids or grandkids .. my granfather gave me that car.

i WISH i could find my grandfathers old F150
id never give it up

just as a example would you sell your grandfathers watch that he loved for a tag hauer?

work a extra shift.. sell your body for tacos..whatever just dont sell that car

i get emotionally attached to many things. If it were me i wouldn't think twice of getting rid of it. So, I think you should keep it.

Once you have more than 1 mustang you now are a collector, its paid for keep the 93 cobra, they seem to hold their value well, buy an 05 if you can, two mustangs is better than one. I would like to have a 93 Cobra myself just because last year of 79 to 93 body style and first year return of the Cobra.

NO Don't sell it. This car sould be a part of your family for the rest of your life. I have a 88GT and will never part with it,just love the Fox bodys. I hope I feel the same way about the 05 GT that I'm going to take delivery on this week.

When I was in kindergarden my grandfather gave me a simple jackknife. I wouldn't trade it for you car. If you feel the same way, the answer is obvious. If not, then it's just a thing and you can do whatever you want.

It's paid for, and is a flat out beautiful car. If you sell it, you won't get what you think it is worth and you'll kick yourself for years to come. Put it this way, when I saw your post and the name that described your car, my mind flashed for a minute "Hmmm, maybe he'd want to sell his 93 Cobra to get an 05 GT, I would give some thought to buying the Cobra from him".

As others have said and I have said, it is paid for, it won't cost you a dime to keep it. If you need to sell a car that was given to you by your grandfather that is paid for to buy an 05 Mustang, you can't afford the Mustang. You couldn't put a gun to my head to sell it if it was me, don't sell the Cobra.

Sean

PS - In case my message hasn't gotten across correctly, what I'm really trying to say is that my opinion on the matter leans towards you keeping your Cobra.
