My GT was produced 8/17 and shipped by Convoy carrier on 8/20.

Is there anyone out there that had a similar shipping date and have you received your car yet.

Mine is coming to North Alabama, so I am interested in shipping times to the southeast.

Also, when they say convoy carrier do they mean Rail? And if mine is coming to North Alabama, will it come by rail to Atlanta or some other rail head.

Thanks for your input.

In regard to build/shipping date to delivery time, in MY05 delivery time would range anywhere from one week or less to up to a month.
I remember one person here got her 05 in one week (that's from MI to CA) while it took my car two weeks.

Since you're probably using the ERL for updates, you might get a message that it went from convoy carrier to rail as that's happened to a few people, or the next message will be 'as of <<date>> vehicle has arrived at the ramp.
Once you get that message it's getting close as the car has arrived at the local mixing lot and it waiting for a truck load of cars coming to your area (they don't ship one car at a time, they wait for a load).

Once the car is at the ramp it should only be a few days (in my case I got the message 'at the ramp' and the next day the car arrived).

I also remember someone here that had their 06 built/shipped and had the car in two or three days.

As to shipping method...
Convoy=Truck
Rail=Train

Congratulations, the car is almost here!

Is there another way to track the car once it has shipped, or is ERL the only way? I remember seeing that someone knew that their car was at this mixing plant, or that mixing plant, then it was on to here or there then it will be at the dealer, ect.
Any info would help us that are waiting impatiently for ours to come. Thanks.

Your car will ship to Atlanta.
Mine was delivered by Allied Systems to Dothan, AL. Their phone number is (404) 366-0161. I was able to call them with my VIN and once they had the car in their possesion they were able to tell me they had it and when it would be delivered. (it was delivered the same day they picked it up)
