If my 05 gt was shipped via convoy (haulaway truck carrier), Is this good or bad?? will I get It any faster then rail car? How long do you think it will take to get from the plant to Jacksonville Fl. ?

Our vert was shipped convoy carrier to rail and it took 10 days. So perhaps yours will come soon. I hope so.

Sometimes the car goes from a convoy - rail - convoy, so I wouldn't get to excited just yet. I doubt Ford trucks the cars from MI-FL direct. The car that I was supposed to get last week spend a month in transit. The earlier built cars seemed to arrive about 2 weeks quicker in my area.

I just checked and mine car is at the ramp for the second time. So far it has taken my car almost 3 weeks and I still haven't got the call.

Well from my understanding unless you live real close to plant here is the process, shipped convoy carrier, shipped via rail car, hits the rail yard/ramp in your city, onto convoy carrier to dealer. Depending if you get a rail car quickly or not Mine took two and a half weeks, but average wait seems about a week to 10 days.

if it was on the truck carrier it all depends on the driver, i work for a dealer and sometimes trucks come in as late as 9pm.

HEY BOSS! okay- your car is probably going to follow the same path that my car took. It took 10 days for the car to go from produced to convoy carrier to rail car and to delivery to the dealer... I'm guessing you'll get your baby around 3-28 or 29th Have some Nanners while you're waiting!

I stopped by and looked at mine today after work, since I know where they stash them, and I'm think mine said convoy. I hadn't really ever thought much about it until it has came up in several threads today (after I had already seen my car), and was more into looking it over than what the sticker said. So I'm not sure how much that really tells you. Anyways mine went convoy-rail-ramp-rail-ramp-dealer calls. A little unusual, but at least it's here.

Get with Kzinti at www.blueovalnews.com He is pretty good at tracking these things. Look for the ford employee forum and then look for the VIN# thread. Just give him your VIN# and he might be able to help you out.
