The shifter **** in my car is twisting around a little bit. After one drive, I noticed that I had pulled it almost 45 degrees to the left from it's original position!

I managed to twist it back, but now I'm worried about it moving during driving. It'd be bad trying to shift down to fourth and having the **** move on me.

Take it to a dealer?

turn it clockwise to tighten it. If that doesn't do it, take it to the dealer.

adrenalin, since my problem was fixed easily can I turn this into a "post pictures of your shifter" thread?

\I would take it to your dealer. It's a PITA, but I don't think that it will hurt your tranny unless you try to shift into the wrong gear.
