...can you tell us what the shift feel was like?

Short...?

Notchy...?

Rubbery...?

or smooth and crisp like the imports (ie: Mazda RX-8)...which I'm hoping?

Nice smooth, short shifts. Very good placement.

I felt it was a little on the rubbery side. Definately is not not like my current Tri-ax.

Clutch was VERY light .....

I thought it was very rubbery. Engineer said they were still improving it, but an aftermarket shifter will be put on my car for sure.

Was this in the GT or the V6? I would think that the V6's would have a lighter clutch. Just wondering.

Since it's a hydraulic clutch, I'd expect the pedal effort to be the same for both.

i sat in the red one at the la auto show. the shifter itself felt pretty nice. i have a saleen shifter in mine with a really short handle and it wasn't much longer than mine. was a little on the soft sid though. i won't be in any real hurry cause it does feel nice, but an aftermarket will probably go in anyway. :flag2:
