I had my GT500 shift boot frame break on me a couple weeks ago and I got a replacement off Ebay. Anyways when I took it out of the box this evening, the Boot was Black leather with Black stitching on it, where as my original Boot was black leather with red stitching on it.

There is a sticker on the bag, but the number doesn't come up in Google and it said made in Mexico.

Anyways....did all the GT500's have black with red stitching from 2007-2009 or did they come black on black, or did even the GTs come with Leather boot in later model years?

Listed on the auction was 7R3Z-7277-AC which corresponds with the GT500 boot PN you listed. The number on the bag it was shipped with was KSS VH3 A 295 09. I'll pull the boot off the console to see if I can pull a number off the part itself.

 

I thought I remembered seeing a SVT steering wheel/shift boot combo from FRPP with the black stitching and in doing a quick search, I found it. Maybe this is boot you received. FRPP p/n M-3601-C
