I just got back from filling out my paperwork at the dealership and I will be going back tonite to pick up my new Stang. I am still in awe that my car is really here and it was well worth the wait. I will post pics tommorrow when I find my digital camera, But I ordered a Redfire Premium GT with everything except side air bags. This is one of the most bueatiful car I have ever seen. I do not have to move around or contort in a strange way to fit into the drivers seat. I'm 6'6" and I had to actually move the seat forward to get comfy. The exhaust tone is awesome. I thought I would have to go with either a Flowmaster or a Borla cat-back but after firing her up NO WAY!!! This car was well woth the 5 month wait and I'm sure I will enjoy it for years to come. Now for the nana dance!!!

Area5179 - Did you get the ICAP? If you did can you take a shot from the back of the car so I can see the door panel contrasted against the paint? .....I am second guessing my decision to go with the red interior and Red Fire paint.

IMO... I don't blame you second guessing. I was all set on Redfire w/ ICAP. When I saw it, I changed to Torch Red. It doesn't look bad together, but it doesn't match. I haven't seen the Torch Red and the ICAP together, but I've seen them both seperately and they seem to be a lot closer together. It's up to you and to each his own. Every one I've seen has been beautiful.

If you can still change your exterior color, then change it to Torch Red (assuming you do want a form of red exterior). It matches superb with the interior. My dealership here in Longview has a Redfire with Red Leather on their lot right now. It looks good, but it's definitely a contrast. One thing I can tell you about the Torch Red on Red.....it is an awful lot of the SAME RED, so you either really love it or hate it. I've changed a few things on my car while I wait for the build date to be issued. Once your order is pulled for build, I don't think you can change anything then.....at least that is what I was told. Satin Silver on Red Guts is where I'm going......and no regrets.

 

Neal..... here is a Torch Red on Red (courtesy of Whitetail1). You can tell from this photo just what you're wanting to find out about I think. Be sure of your color selections so you can sleep well at night....

 

Trust me, the darker redfire will look amazing with the lighter ICAP. You can't go wrong. I've driven the torch with ICAP.....I like it but some might find its a lot of the same red. However, many of those people probably don't like red anyway.
