I was wondering if anyone here has dealt with Sheehy Ford in Gaithersburg, MD. I ordered my 06 GT back in July and the whole process has been one annoying thing after another with these people.
So I finally get my Window Sticker pdf from K-man and noticed that they ordered the wrong wheel. They sent the order in with the standard 17" Painted wheels, which I find to be, well, not very attractive for this car. Thus the upgrade to the 18" Fans.
Well, I called them immediately upon finding this out and asked to speak to a sales manager. So I get on the phone with a "Sales Manager" and he says that he will look into it and call me back.
Needless to say he hasn't called back yet. This was last week.
Anyone happen to have dealt with this dealership and happen to know who the General Manager is before I call them up?

Nevermind - I called and they said they would replace the wheels when the car comes in.

just one thing to remember. supposedly the 18" wheels come with a little different suspension from the factory. this is just a rumor, not a fact, but they supposedly are set up for 18's when you order them. im sure all is fine either way. But you may want to suggest more of a price drop if this is true.

 

Thanks for the info sodaman. I had not heard that, but now I am more annoyed!
I will contact my dealership yet again tomorrow - although I have a sneaky suspicion that they will tell me this is not true.
I tell you, nothing has gone right with this whole order process...
