Two weeks ago, my Ford dealer took the Shaker1000 headunit out of my car because it would no longer play cds. They sent it off to be repaired or replaced.

Monday Last week I was told they were expecting my new headunit by Friday, they then on Friday they changed that to they didn't know when they would get my new one.

I asked for my old headunit back until the new one came in. They just reinstalled it in my car.

I have a question, does the radio sit flush to the dash in your 2005 Mustang? Mine now sits about 1/2cm out from the dash, Since its been nearly two weeks since I have had a radio I can't remember. Seems like it set flush, If its suppost to sit flush, I plan to have them fix this when they install the new one.

Actually, I just looked at mine and it sticks out a little at the top and it is flush at the bottom, but mine is NOT a Shaker.

While we are on the subject of Shakers, anyone reading please visit the Audio & Interior Dress-Up Mods Forum at the top and give your opinion on my question there. Thanks!

They don't sit perfectly flush to the surrounding dash.....so you are as fine as it was fresh outta the wrapper.
