I have shaker 500 in my '05 Gt and want to swap for the Shaker 1000. Has anyone done this swap? Can I swap the head units and add the speaker box or is there more? Is the sub amp in the box or located somewhere else?

The stock stuff is generally crap anyway. Spend your money on some better stuff.
