I've been reading that many are having issues with the Shaker 500. I have an '07 and my system has worked fine until the dash had to be taken out to fix an internal problem. Since then, I can insert a cd and it will play fine until I try to change tracks. After that, the music stops and won't start again until I turn the system off, turn it back on, eject the cd, and then load it again. Just curious as to why I can change between discs but not tracks. Anyone else having this issue?

 

Surprised it lasted this long as my 07 went through one after 2 years (with very minimal use as my still only has ~11K on it) and I finally decided to upgrade this summer with a Nav unit.
