Shaker 500 Disc Stuck
#1
I had disc 6 selected the night before, working fine. I start it up in the morning and it switches to disc 5. I tried to move it back to disc 6 but it now thinks there is no disc there. When I hit load it switches to disc 6 and says load for a second, then finds the disc thats there but when it tries to read the disc something happens and it switches back to 5.
Anyone ever have this problem?

Umm...when you tried to change to another disc what buttons did you use...If im correctly speaking you should use the up and down arrows that are on the top left of the shaker system !!!! try that cuz i was alittle confused as well on how to change from disc to disc.. Let me know if that helps

I'll try ejecting all the CDs.
It wont eject the disc since the shaker doesnt think there is one loaded in that slot. The only time it thinks its loaded is when I hit load (rest of the slots are full) and it goes to that slot. If you dont insert a disc, it will find that disc in there. When it tries to read it, it fails and goes back to thinking there isnt a disc in that slot.
I almost positive thats it's revision B. I have not had one single problem with it until now.

I had a similar problem with a CDRW. It kept trying to read it and wouldn't switch to another CD. I couldn't eject it either. If I remember correclty, I had to shut off the engine and open a door to turn off power. Then, as soon as I turned on accessory power I hit eject, and I got it out.
I think the problem with that CDRW is that I forgot to finalize the disk, but I'm really not sure. There are so many things it could have been. I just burned a new CDRW using a different brand (Verbatim this time) and made sure I finalized it. Worked fine after that.
